Hamas fighters, though, resumed firing rockets and mortar rounds into Israel.</span></div> <div style="margin-bottom: 24px;"> <span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">An Israeli soldier was killed early Sunday morning, despite the additional 24-hour cease-fire. The death brings to 43 the number of soldiers killed since Israel started its ground operation in Gaza.
